Be a Threat

1 Corinthians 15:57-58 (NKJV)

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus

Christ Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always

abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in

vain in the Lord.

We have been given the victory through Jesus.

We don’t have to be afraid of the things that the enemy throws at us anymore, because we know how the story ends! Yet, that doesn’t mean that the enemy won’t

throw stuff at us: he knows that we’re on a mission, and it is his goal to stop us from fulfilling it. We wouldn’t be a target if he didn’t see us as a threat.

Let that sink in...we’re a threat!

Gen78 is powerful, and the devil knows how detrimental we will be if we are allowed to

continue doing what God told us to. Now, just because we won’t be meeting in person for a while, doesn’t mean we can’t keep growing. The power is in the name of Jesus; it is in the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to be together to feel the presence of God when we pray and worship. The same Spirit that performed miracles through Jesus lives in us!

If we are steadily preparing ourselves for when we can get back together- spending time with God and in His Word, practicing with our armor and the weapons that we have been given, strengthening the relationships that will challenge us to be better than

we were before- we are going to see miracles. So, don’t believe the enemy’s lie that you can’t do anything because you are “too young”. Be steadfast in your faith, and don’t be afraid to hold nothing back in your relationship with God. It is worth it! What can you do to take advantage of your extra free time at home and

use it to grow in your faith?
