Love and Lonliness

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who

loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor

principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height

nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from

the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:37-39 NKJV

Loneliness and love. Two things that almost every person goes through in

their life at least once. Love is something that every person wants and

loneliness is something every person wants to avoid. Love is defined as “a

profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.” Loneliness is

defined as “affected with, characterized by, or causing a depressing feeling

of being alone; lonesome.” One could say that loneliness is the lack of

feeling loved. Well this means that the lack of love is the root problem

which must be faced. In this world it is very easy to feel alone, unloved, and

forgotten but as Christians we can know from God’s word that we are

always loved therefore we never have to feel alone.

The love of this world is temporary. It’s easily persuaded and changed with

time and circumstances but the love of our Father is different. As the verse

says, nothing can separate us from the love of our Father. To say it as

simply as possible, because our Father loves us no matter what, we don’t

have to face loneliness. Another amazing part of God’s love is that through

his love we are conquerers. Therefore, loneliness is conquered by love.

Fear is conquered by love. Depression is conquered by love. God’s love

surpasses all understanding but still it pursues us. How amazing is our

Father’s love!? I encourage you to spend time in your Father’s love today.

When life gets you down and times are tough then go to him because he is

waiting with open arms ready to love you supernaturally.
